Jabal Omar Development Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Abdullah Al Othaim Entertainment to develop and operate the first entertainment destination of its kind in Makkah’s central area, located within Souq Bab Makkah at Jabal Omar Destination.

The agreement aims to create a specialised entertainment destination that provides children with an enjoyable and safe experience while offering their families greater peace of mind as they perform their rituals and visit the Grand Mosque.

The project forms part of Jabal Omar Development Company’s plans to expand the variety of facilities and services available across the destination and deliver integrated experiences that meet the needs of pilgrims and visitors of different age groups.

The new entertainment destination will also enhance the overall experience at Souq Bab Makkah and strengthen its position as an integrated retail and service destination offering shopping, entertainment, dining and essential services near the Grand Mosque.

The MoU reflects the Company’s strategy of partnering with specialised operators to develop distinctive experiences that enrich the visitor journey and support its vision for an integrated destination combining hospitality, retail, entertainment and services.
