The CEO of the Jabal Omar project, Saad bin Aiban, explained that the project is one of the most important hotel projects next to the Holy Mosque in Makkah, contributing to achieving the Kingdom’s vision of increasing the capacity of visitors to the House of God, including pilgrims and Umrah performers, by developing the central area around the Holy Mosque in Makkah to give visitors and residents a unique living and spiritual experience. It was established pursuant to Royal Decree No. M/63 issued on 25/9/1427 AH corresponding to 18/10/2006 AD.
“Bin Aiban” said during his interview with “Alyoum” that the tourism and hotel industry is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, indicating that the numbers speak of progress at a steady pace, as the project with an area of 235 thousand square meters is being completed in 7 phases, the first three phases have been completed by 100% and the fourth phase by about 70%, and after the completion of the project, the central area will be in front of 45 towers, 11 international hotels, 5 commercial markets, providing 1500 parking spaces and 3000 residential rooms.
He explained that the project is to build 1700 additional 5-star rooms next to the Grand Mosque in the next two years, so that the number of hotel rooms after the completion of the fourth phase will be 7700 rooms with different areas within the Jabal Omar project, with high-standard services specially designed to meet the requirements of free acquisition, managed by professional international experts.
Bin Aiban explained that the Jabal Omar project is a key partner in the Guests of God Program and plays a pivotal role in a large-scale, multi-use real estate project thanks to its strategic location near the Grand Mosque. It also plays a crucial role in the region’s urban landscape thanks to its expertise that combines international and local quality.
