Jabal Omar implements a volunteering initiative to clean up Mount Arafat at the end of the Hajj season

As part of its commitment to serve the community and in line with Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at enriching volunteering, Jabal Omar Development Company (JODC) launched the ‘Khitamouha Misk’ campaign to clean up Mount Arafat at the end of this year’s Hajj season in strategic partnership with the Secretariat of the Holy Capital.

JODC employees in the cities of Makkah, Jeddah and Riyadh volunteered to participate in the initiative, along with members of their families and friends, as well as employees of hotels in Jabal Omar. Working in teams, the volunteers were able to collect tons of waste and, thanks to Allah, contributed effectively to the successful accomplishment of the ‘Khitamouha Misk’ campaign.

“We proudly thank all the employees who volunteered their time to support the Secretariat of the Holy Capital’s efforts to take care of the environment and serve the community through their contribution to this social responsibility initiative,” said a JODC spokesperson.

The initiative was implemented according to careful planning and started with the gathering of volunteers at the company’s headquarters before heading to the meeting point on Mount Arafat to begin work on the ‘Khitamouha Misk’ clean-up campaign.

Jabal Omar Development Company (JODC) is committed to playing a leading role in providing qualitative support in strategic partnership with various civil society organizations, charities and government bodies, which contributes significantly to the successful achievement of these institutions’ programs and objectives for the benefit of both the individual and society.
