Inspired by traditional Arab architecture, its design reinterprets the traditional dense building clusters, creating a new contemporary vernacular that respects its sacred location. Following the mountainous terrain, its cascading vertical elements form a new topography. The new mixed-use development will create a new gateway along the route to the Grand Mosque for pilgrims from all over the world. The scheme and standards of the Four Seasons Hotel have been taken into consideration in the design of the hotel. With over 55 years of experience, four seasons hotel has managed 78 hotels in 32 countries around the world, one of the most luxurious hotels in the world. The agreement was signed by the CEO of JODC, Mr. Yasser Bin Faisal Al Sharif, and the Head of Studio and Senior Executive Partner of Foster & Partners, Mr. Luke Fox. Additionally, this agreement is a result of the design competition event which has been conducted by Jabal Omar back in Jan 2017 & F+P was crowned as the winner.
